Kyle has had a rough couple of years. Upon turning 18, Kyle left Shaddow Falls to head out into the world. He first found himself in a small town north of Steele City called, Decatur (or "Decaytur" as it would quickly come to be known,) then after surviving that incident, he made his way back to Steele City and has spent the last 20 or so years struggling to make it from day-to-day.
As of late, he had been living and working at Krueger Towing & Salvage, a rundown junk yard in a bad part of Steele City. Recently, he received word via a letter that his Uncle, Regis, had died of a sudden heart attack. Upon learning that he was left an inheritance, he uses that as a reason to leave Steele City and return to Shaddow Falls, to possibly start over. Unfortunately, things will not pan out as he planned, and will quickly find out how fast things are going to go to hell...perhaps literally...

Larry, a former classmate of Kyle's; runs into him on Kyle's return to Shaddow Falls. A generally nice guy, Larry currently works at a Clam Gas station on the outskirts of SF.
Not a fan of Sheriff White, who is always nesting around the gas station, looking for someone to pull over.
Larry is one who always seems to find himself in annoying situations, dealing with annoying people.
Two punks, members of the "Skabz", a local street gang in the North Side of Steele City. They were sent by their leader, Acid, to find Kyle and get money that was owed to the the gang boss.
They happened to catch Kyle as he was leaving for Shaddow Falls.
Slik (the larger of the two,) is all muscle but no brains. Lowko on the other hand, is a bit more quick-witted, and clearly the loud-mouth of the two.
As quoted by Kyle, they are collectively, the "epitome of stupid." Although not very bright, they are extremely loyal to the Skabz, and will do whatever is asked of them by the boss.
